The Yaeger CPA review course wasn't the 1st one I had purchased. It was after that experience that I decided to buy Yaeger's Home Study Course, which sucessfully helped me to pass all 3 sections withflying colors.
The Yaeger website says that students who have studied from the Yaeger CPA review course materials have an 88% probability of passing the CPA examination. The owner, Dr. Phil Yaeger, has been preparing students for the exam since 1977. Dr. Yaeger and his instructors provide a service that none of the other CPA review courses are making available at the present: an "Instructors Hotline" (a toll free number) that students can dial to ask for clarification about the course materials or about the CPA exam in general. I personally have made quite a few calls to this number and had many opportunities to talk with very patient lecturers (including Dr. Yaeger himself) who would not hang up the phone until I was no longer confused.
The lectures are not boring and are done by qualified instructors. Similarly, they recommend that students spend time on doing questions that are most likely to appear on the actual examination.
Particularly helpful are Yaeger's cram lectures which can add between 5 to 15 points to your CPA examination result. Each and every DVD teaches a particular CPA section and lasts 7-16 hours. Even students that are currently using another CPA review course can reap the benefits of these cram lectures by using them as last-minute supplementary study materials.
So, the student can rest assured that they are getting the current info.
Taking everything into consideration, {I am very pleased with the Yaeger CPA review course|I find the Yaeger CPA review course very beneficial and would recommend it highly to any student wishing to pass the CPA examination.
